Thomas uses a combination of his modelling skills and quantitative methods to break down complex economic issues across a range of sectors.
He has experience advising on anti-trust litigation and merger cases before both the UK and EU competition authorities, building regulatory financial models in the water and aviation sectors, and evaluating public policy for both public and private sector clients. He has also advised on decarbonisation policy in the energy sector and on UK financial regulation.
Prior to Frontier Economics, Thomas worked in Investment Banking and Finance. He holds degrees in economics from the University of Nottingham and Durham University, and a Certificate in Securities and UK Financial Regulation. He’s registered as an Approved Researcher at the ONS and is also a Mental Health First Aider.
