Daniel de Hita

Daniel is an analyst based in Madrid and has experience in competition, litigation, regulation and research across a wide range of sectors.

Examples of his work include assessing the potential anticompetitive effects arising from a merger in the telecommunications market, estimating economic damages in a contract dispute in Latin America and providing regulatory advice in the high-speed rail sector in Spain.

He has also answered complex questions related to the banking, energy, dairy and horticultural industries, amongst others.

Daniel holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Economics and Markets from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, earning the award for the best academic record. Before that, he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the same university. He is fluent in Spanish, English and French.
