Sebastian joined Frontier in 2021 as an Analyst the Energy and Competition practices, based in our Cologne office. He has a strong background in econometric modelling as well as energy and competition economics, which he contributes to a wide range of projects.
Sebastian is currently engaged across several practices at Frontier. Most recently, Sebastian has worked on projects around the topic “Power to X” for the energy practice and on a cartel damage case for the competition practice.
Prior to joining Frontier, Sebastian has worked as a research and teaching assistant at the University of Cologne, where he taught Energy Economics and Competition Policy as part of the Bachelor and Master program, respectively. Sebastian has a Bachelor and Master degree in Economics from the University of Cologne and is currently finalising his doctoral thesis on the econometric analysis of households’ energy demand. He speaks German and English fluently and has good command of French and Mandarin.
