Alex Latti is a consultant in Frontier Economics’ energy practice who has been involved in numerous large energy market modelling projects in the European and Australian markets since joining Frontier in 2016.
He has undertaken much of Frontier’s recent modelling work in support of transactions as well as for governments and policy makers. His recent modelling experience for clients such as Bulgarian Government or the Australian Energy Market Commission includes modelling potential market reform, price forecasts, investment outcomes and system reliability. Alex also worked to develop the models implemented in these projects.
Prior to joining Frontier Alex was a Simulation and Process Control Engineer in the power and gas industries. In this role Alex developed systems that control the processes of a power plant as well as software that models the processes of a power plant to commission that system and train operators.
Alex brings a hands on experience of energy markets and valuable insights into the intersection between engineering and economics.
