Ionut works in Frontier’s Competition and Telecoms practices.
Ionut combines his econometrics skills with a genuine passion for problem-solving to provide unique and convincing insights into complex questions. Recent examples of Ionut’s work involve supporting a major telecoms operator on a phase II merger investigation at the European Commission, conducting mapping analysis to support a major train operator in their franchise bid at the CMA, as well as supporting clients regarding several abuse of dominance cases in Central and Eastern Europe.
Ionut holds a First Class degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from University of Warwick and an MSc Economics degree with Distinction from Birkbeck College. He is a native Romanian speaker and is conversational in German.
