Julia Gorochovskij

Based in Berlin, Julia works across Frontier’s Energy and Competition practices.

Recent examples of her work include advising a ministry on the design of funding auctions for photovoltaic systems, supporting a municipality in developing a hydrogen concept, and advising a company on questions of European (electricity) regulation.

In addition, Julia advised on an applied cost comparison of different variants of regional hydrogen networks, supported an assessment of possible designs for a hydrogen regulatory framework, and provided economic advice in several competition litigation cases. 

Prior to joining Frontier, Julia attained an MSc in Economic and Social Sciences at Bocconi University in Milan with a strong focus on microeconomic and econometric topics, and gained research experience at the OECD, the World Bank, and the ifo Institute for Economic Research.

She is fluent in German, English, and Russian, and has knowledge of French, Italian, and Spanish.
