Regulating the gas network for the journey to Net Zero

Regulating the gas network for the journey to Net Zero

Frontier Economics has written a report for Energy Systems Catapult assessing how the GB gas network could be regulated in the transition to Net Zero.

The transition to Net Zero will mean major changes to the energy system, potentially including a switch to low carbon gas such as low carbon hydrogen or a switch away from gas to alternative vectors such as electricity.

Our report sets out how network regulation could facilitate this change.
