Alex Katz

Alex is a consultant working in Frontier’s public policy and competition practices.

He combines a passion for the mathematical and technical side of economics with an ability to translate empirical work and economic theory into clear answers to the questions that matter to clients.  His policy work includes analysis of transport, decarbonisation, and investment. He has also advised on a number of competition issues across Europe, including litigation, anti-trust, and State aid cases. Examples of his recent work include an impact assessment of government funding for zero-emission vehicles, and modelling the benefits of the co-location of health and scientific services.

He holds an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Queen’s University, Canada. He is fluent in English and French.
