Dr. Nadja Trhal is a Manager at Frontier Economics. Since joining Frontier in September 2009, she has worked on a wide range of competition and energy topics across Europe.
Nadja is an expert in competition law cases, with a focus on litigation including damages estimation. She has gained her profound knowledge on the subject from substantial experience in follow-on damages litigation cases, abuse of dominance, margin squeeze and merger cases. She has worked on high-profile matters before the European Commission and national competition authorities and courts, including those in Germany, the Netherlands and Austria.
She is also heavily involved in our energy practice, having advised a number of European regulators and policy makers on incentive and quality regulation, efficiency benchmarking, energy costs and cost of capital estimation. Her recent experience includes projects that promote energy efficiency measures through the application of behavioural economic insights.
