Thomas Badger

Thomas specialises in the use of quantitative methods to break down complex economic issues across a range of sectors.

He has advised on a variety of public policy issues including productivity, international trade, the impacts of climate change and the low carbon transition. He has developed evaluation methodologies, and regularly uses statistical methods and cost-benefit analysis to inform policy makers and industry.

Prior to Frontier Economics, Thomas worked in Investment Banking and Finance. He holds first class degrees in economics from the University of Nottingham and Durham University, and holds a Certificate in Securities and UK Financial Regulation. He’s registered as an Approved Researcher at the ONS, and is also a Mental Health First Aider.
