Lydia Field

Lydia works across a range of litigation and regulatory projects.

She is particularly interested in new and evolving sectors and enjoys working on a variety of different projects, from analysis of sustainable energy networks to new class action possibilities in competition law. Her litigation experience includes damage estimation in cartel follow-on claims as well as assessing abuse of dominance in (more or less) unregulated markets. She has also worked on diagnosing the risks from particular energy and transport regulations for regulated companies and their customers.

Lydia has a MSc in Economics from UCL and a BA in PPE from the University of Oxford. Before joining Frontier, Lydia worked on vocational education policy at UNESCO.

She speaks fluent French, having grown up in Paris.

If you could gain one quality or ability, what would it be?

Perfect pitch. I think it would make karaoke infinitely better. And I already quite like karaoke.

If you could only eat one meal/food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Potatoes. Nutritious and versatile. Although we could apparently survive on seaweed in the event of a nuclear winter…it sounds less appetising to me!

What was the last book you read?

Troy, by Stephen Fry. I would highly recommend it.
