Daniel de Hita

Daniel is based in Madrid and specialises in providing economic evidence in legal disputes and regulatory matters in a wide range of industries in Europe and Latin America.

In disputes, he has contributed to elaborating economic expert reports in follow-on competition damages cases (such as the trucks case in Europe and the raw milk case in Spain) and contract disputes solved in front of arbitration tribunals.

In regulation, he has worked alongside regulators and regulated companies on issues such as access price regulation, consumer tariffs, regulatory accounting and sustainability.

Examples of his sectorial experience include telecommunications, electricity, rail, heavy vehicles, renewable fuels, retail banking and pay TV.

Daniel earned the award for the best academic record while obtaining his Master’s Degree in Industrial Economics and Markets from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, following his earlier achievement of a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the same university.
